Acne can be worrying and embarrassing. However, there are quick and easy fixes you can try. Don’t have time for this DIY recipe? No worries, reach for Revitol Acnezine.
There are many acne spot treatments I have tried, while some works wonders, some do take their course. Besides, the recipe should also be chosen based on the type of acne or pimple you have. Here are my favorite recipes.
DIY Acne Spot Oil
Wondering how you can put oil for acne? Don’t panic, rest assured – it works every time.
Tea Tree Essential Oil – 1 drop
Clove Oil – 1 drop
Lavender Essential Oil – 1 drop
Lemon Essential Oil / Lemon Grass Essential Oil – 1 drop (Optional)
Camphor Oil – 1 drop (Optional)
Jojoba Oil – 5 – 10 drops
Combine Tea Tree Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil and Lemon Essential Oil. They say, when you mix essential oils for a blend, you should let the essential oils that are combined for 3 – 4 days before you can add carrier oils.
Now, add Clove Oil, Jojoba Oil and Camphor Oil. Mix well to combine the ingredients.
Use a cotton ball or a bud to apply this oil on acne for quick relief.
Most took a day or two at most. I have used this for acne that is filled with pus, also called pustules. It took 3 days for it to fully dry out.
Tea Tree Oil is a spot acne treatment on its own, though I always use this mixture for best results. I added lemon essential oil and camphor oil only when the acne was severe and diluted the mixture with Jojoba Oil. When I did not add lemon essential oil or camphor oil, I did not dilute it.
You can skip camphor oil if you are scared, though it did not do anything to harm my skin. I have sensitive skin, mind you!
Wondering why wait for a few days to use the spot treatment? Oh, I always prepare it only when I want it. It still works! The recipe is for one-time application. So, you can prepare the blend and store it for future use, in the same ratio.

Consider using ACV for cleansing your face. It is quick ’n easy. Dab a cotton ball in ACV and apply on your face. Wash off after 10 – 15 minutes. Presto! Your face looks supple and shiny. Do this daily to clean your pores naturally and curb acne breakouts. You can dilute the ACV in water 1:1 ration, if it burns a lot.
Don’t break or pick acne, or pimples. You are likely to get scars when you do that.
Applying a few drops of Jojoba Oil and a drop or two of Tea Tree Essential oil on your face every day, works well to prevent acne breakouts.
